Trinity is a community centered in Christ, seeking to honor Christ in all we do. All who seek God are welcome, regardless of where they are on their faith journey. Trinity stands on God’s Word and is devoted to bringing the saving grace and love of Jesus Christ to all through worship, education for all ages, caring ministries and service – both here and abroad.

Rev. Dr. April Davis Campbell
April began her ministry as Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in August 2017. She previously served churches in Stillwater, MN., Robbinsdale, MN., and mostly recently as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Hastings, MN. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey and a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Spirituality from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. April and her husband Bob have two sons, Emmett (11) and Solomon (8 1/2), a dog named Sunny and two fish. In her spare time you can find April enjoying the outdoors with the kids, running with the dog, reading, or blogging at www.dminrevaprilblog.wordpress.com. She looks forward to the many ways in which the Holy Spirit will be on the move at Trinity.
Joa Sevlie - Children’s and Youth Director
Joa directs the youth and the children’s programs at Trinity. She is a graduate of Metropolitan State University and Bethel Seminary. Joa holds a Masters degree in Theology with an emphasis in Transformational Leadership, and a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling. Joa’s background includes work in a variety of settings (schools, hospitals and non-profits) with survivors of domestic violence and inner city youth and families struggling with issues of drugs, gang violence, and prostitution.
Joa loves teenagers and children. She is passionate about explaining God to them in ways that they understand, and to connect them with God through a hands-on approach.
Neal Strand - Choir Director
Neal has enjoyed all kinds of music from a very young age. He grew up in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where he met his wife Sandy and earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Business Administration. Neal works at General Mills during the day in information technology communication and training. In addition to making music, Neal enjoys photography and spending time with his wife Sandy and their children Peter and Kelsey.
Jane Wasiluk - Pianist and Music Coordinator
Jane grew up in northern Minnesota and has enjoyed being involved in a variety of church music since her teenage years. She has an undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead and a Master’s degree in music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During the day, she works at Travelers in St. Paul. Jane and her husband, Rick, enjoy spending time with their four grown children, traveling, running, and skiing.
Kim Vangsgard - Church Office Administrator
Kim earned an Associate’s Degree in Office Administration and enjoys using her skills and knowledge in the church environment. Active in the church throughout her life, Kim enjoys expressing her faith through music, both voice and musical instrumentation. A native of White Bear Lake, Kim now lives in Stillwater with her husband Mark, two dogs and three grandchildren.
